The origins
The Segue brand was founded in 2001 in Sesto Fiorentino , near Florence. Founded by the Zini family (Andrea and Nicola) and the ABC group, with over thirty years of experience in the distribution of fashion accessories for international brands such as Benetton and Sisley, Segue has always catered to a young, dynamic audience seeking a unique style.
With affordable, colorful, and functional bags and accessories, Segue quickly captured the attention of new generations.

Growth and expansion
Between 2001 and 2007 Segue experienced a period of extraordinary growth:

In just six years it opened over 300 stores in Italy and abroad;

In 2006 , its turnover exceeded 112 million euros , with an annual increase of approximately 40%.
During this phase, the brand built an image based on "fashion, energy, and innovation" : brightly lit stores, vibrant collections of women's bags and wallets, luggage, and even a trendy footwear line. In 2007, a men's line (briefcases, wallets, and trolleys) was also introduced, thus broadening its target audience.
Design philosophy and evolution
Segue's design has always been a balance between style and functionality :

at the beginning, colorful bags, woven details and vintage references;

subsequently more minimal and basic lines, designed for everyday life;

Over the years, leather accessories, small leather goods, footwear and even clothing were added.
With the 2024 relaunch , Segue chooses to return to its roots with the “Back to leather” philosophy: a tribute to the Tuscan tanning tradition and Italian craftsmanship, capable of combining quality materials and contemporary innovation .

International expansion
Since the early years, Segue has developed a distribution network beyond the Italian borders:
